We started a small music group and titled it Bansuri in April 22 soon after the pandemic, mainly to drive our passion.

Our Programs
Today as we near our third anniversary, we can proudly say that the ‘Bansuri’ brand is fairly well know in the music circles of Mumbai for the quality of it’s musical shows and more importantly for it’s mission of supporting the fund raising activities of several worthy Not for profit organisations who are doing great philanthropy work for the underprivileged
Since April 22., we have conducted 39 programs , of which over 23 programs in auditoriums including programs at NCPA and Shanmukhanand Hall. We have successfully completed 7 fund raisers and successfully raised over 5 crs to various deserving NGOs including Cankids, Sai Sarla hospitals, Neev Jeevan, Teach India and Pratima foundation
Our objective going forward is to continue this musical journey of ours with the dual objective of
• Supporting worthy philanthropy organisations in their fund raising effort
• Provide free musical entertainment to deserving groups like senior citizen groups, rural women, sschool and college students with special needs
On 27 th April we celebrated our third anniversary where we had representatives of Srujna trust, an NGO helping distressed women to earn livelihood. We can proudly say that the ‘Bansuri’ brand is fairly well know in the music circles of Mumbai for the quality of it’s musical shows and more importantly for it’s mission of supporting the fund raising activities of several worthy Not for profit organisations who are doing great philanthropy work for the underprivileged
Since April 22., we have conducted 44 programs , of which 30 programs in auditoriums including programs at NCPA and Shanmukhanand Hall. We have successfully completed ten fund raisers and successfully raised over 7 crs to various deserving NGOs including Cankids, Sai Sarla hospitals, Neev Jeevan, Teach India and Pratima foundation, Rori Foundation, Sukoon Nilayam , Urja Trust and Iskcon Foundation
Our objective going forward is to continue this musical journey of ours with the dual objective of-

Music with a mission is what Bansuri Music Group stands for. Since April 2022 we have been conducting Bollywood music shows solely for philanthropy. On Feb 22, 2026, we conducted our Golden Jubilee show.
During the last four years we have supported about 30 non-profit organisations including Cankids, Roti Bank, Iskcon, Sukoon Nilaya, Shanmukhanand Hospital, Annamitra Foundation, Madhusudan Sai Hospital and other such institutions who are doing remarkable work in their domain. All our programs are non-ticketed and we have been very successful in creating awareness and raising funds for NGOs.
In addition to the performers from our group, several celebrity singers including Rajessh Iyer, Dr Rahul Joshi, Sangeeta Melekar, Raina Lahiri, Dhanashree Deshpande and Prajakta regularly perform in our shows.
Senior citizens’ groups like Jeshta Nagrik and Laughter Club Chembur regularly participate in our events. On a cumulative basis about 10,000 patrons have attended our shows.

Impact we have created
Bansuri has clearly made three meaningful impact for their musical shows
- In Every one of the NGO’s where we have performed the resident inmates have had an enthralling experience and have been overwhelmed.
- We have been able to work out a good fund raising methodology for NG0s , where costs are met by us and willing donors are able to contribute to their funds List of NGO’s who have benefited can be provided.
- There is now atleast 200 members of various senior citizens groups in and around Chembur who have become part of our regular fan club and attend every of our shows.
What is next?
We believe we have evolved well and we could continue to do what we have been doing in terms of fulfilling our mission
- Bring joy to deserving hearts be it old age home inmates, senior citizens, underprivileged children, mentally challenged children and such like persons.
- Keep helping deserving NGOs in fundraising for their non profit activities.
- Bansuri would like to support artistes with unique talent and help them in their journey of enthralling music lovers.
- We also see an opportunity to take our mission to outside Mumbai.
